1. SKILLS ACQUISITION PROGRAM:

1,587 widows and their coordinators were trained on income generating skills such as Pop Corn, Tie & Dye, Puff-Puff, Doughnut, tofu from soya milk, and cereals, Food Packaging, and Home Gardening in 5 Zones across Nigeria.

2. DISTRICT COORDINATOR'S TRAINING:

131 District/Center Coordinators and Advisers from across Nigeria were trained to understand and to execute the CCWA Seven Core Activities to enrich the lives of the widows, widowers’ orphans and the aged within their reach.

3. CCWA RESOURCE BUILDING PROJECTS:

CCWA executed different levels of repairs and project development of the resource centers at the following places: Garaje in Kaduna state, Aiyetoro in Kogi state, Oyo in Oyo state and Boro in Kaduna state.

4. SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

CCWA Awarded Scholarships to a total of 79 Orphans, Motherless and Fatherless children on the following Districts; Pambeguwa (10), Kabba (3), Yola (9), Kogi, Aiyetoro Gbede (15), Kadarko (2), Zonkwa (9), Kwoi (1), Makurdi (9), Kwalla (21). In total 24 in primary schools, 47on secondary schools, 8 in tertiary institutions.

5. AINA TRUST FUND

CCWA disbursed additional loans to 11 Widows who had successfully deployed and repaid their start-up loans for Snail faming, Poultry, small-scale businesses, and soap making.

6. CCWA OUTREACHES:

CCWA HQ reached out to widows across the country with gift items ranging from clothing, shoes, multivitamins, and foodstuff Also CCWA attended burial ceremonies of some of our members. Etc. Beside the extension of beneficiaries of CCWA benevolence a total of 455 Widows in FCT Gwagwalada (104), Barikin Ladi (120), Jalingo (196), and Oyo (35) were recorded.

7. CCWA Zonal Annual Thanksgiving:

CCWA Zonal Annual Thanksgiving functions was held in 5 Zones with 688 participants in North-East (196), North-West 1 (312), North-West 2 (60), North Central (85), and South-West (35).

8. CCWA God’s Children Christmas Camp (GCCC) 2023

GCCC was held in 15 camps with a total of 758 Orphans and Widows in attendance: Kwalla (78), Gwagwalada (55), Yola (45), Michika (62), Jalingo (130), Dumne (87), Kano, Kwoi (26), Garaje (62), Godogodo (42), Samaru (48), Pambegua (63), Ikara (19), Warri (20) and Ekiti (21).

CCWA paid condolence visits to the families of departed widows at various centers, victims of bandits’ attacks, unwell widows and bereaved CCWA partners across the country..

CCWA Membership has increased to over 123,000 in 672 Centres and 68 Districts across the country.
