Seven Core Activities of CCWA

Weekly Bible Study/Seminars

The word of God is the bedrock of CCWA. CCWA’s Weekly Bible Studies/Seminars seek to motivate every member to assemble in unity with the objectives of: encouraging and fellowshipping with one another, establishing a solid spiritual foundation rooted in God, expanding knowledge and understanding of the word of God, developing continual and progressive spiritual growth, and replacing the spirit of mourning with that of gladness and joy.

Counseling Sessions

There are several widows facing diverse challenges which require compassion, guidance and direction. CCWA counseling sessions offer its members passing through difficult and troubling situations an opportunity to access godly counsel from trained and competent Christian Counselors.

Founder’s Scholarships Scheme

CCWA understands the importance of education and the opportunities of success that it provides. CCWA seeks to impact the lives of orphans and fatherless children through the Founder's Scholarships Scheme which provides access to education for promising children from primary through secondary levels of schooling and in exceptional cases, to needy orphans students in tertiary institutions.

Skill Acquisition Program

One of the objectives of CCWA is to ensure that its members are engaged in an occupations/careers which allow them to be self reliant. The Skill Acquisition program offers interested members the opportunity to be empowered and self sufficient in various vocations of their choice to alleviate lack, poverty and idleness.

Small Scale Business Loans

The Small Scale Business Loan program encourages entrepreneurship by providing CCWA members an opportunity to acquire low interest rate loans. These loans allow members to embark on new profitable small scale businesses or enhance and improve already existing businesses.

Faith Clinic

Health and wellness are a vital component of CCWA services. The Faith Clinic provides CCWA members in various regions in the country with the opportunity to access free and quality medical care services from dedicated volunteer Christian Medical Practitioners .

Annual Events

CCWA organizes three major annual programs: the Annual Career Seminar for school aged orphans, the Annual Thanksgiving for members at the District level, and the National Annual Convention held in Abuja. These programs provide avenues for CCWA members to meet and encourage one another, raise awareness about CCWA’s progress and programs, and share God’s word from the personal experiences and insights of various seasoned speakers throughout the country.

• Annual Career Seminar for school aged orphans: Organized at Zonal and District level to encourage and motivate orphans to tackle various academic, financial and social challenges.

• Annual Thanksgiving for members at each District level: Organized for members to appreciate God for a successful execution of the year’s activities in the District, and to set strategies for the realization of set goals and activities for the forthcoming year.

• National Annual Convention held in Abuja: Organized for both the general public and CCWA members across the country. The Convention provides avenue for CCWA members to meet and encourage one another, raise awareness about CCWA’s progress and activities, and share Gods’ word from the personal experiences and insights of various seasoned speakers throughout the country.
